Forma Floor interlocking tiles require no special skills to install. Tiles simply snap together. Tiles unlock as easily as they lock into place, making removal or change of design also a snap. Little or no preparation is required for most surfaces, including: concrete, asphalt, gravel, sand, etc. Tile cleaning can be done with an all purpose cleaner.
- Sweep the area clean where tiles are to be installed.
- For maximum floor stability, area should be level with adequate sub-flooring in place.
- At minimum, leave a 1/2" space from wall to tile to allow for floor expansion (caused by temperature increases).
- Start from outside corner of area to be covered, pointing female loops in the directions tiles are to be added (see below). All tiles must be oriented in the same direction as the first tile.
- Lay subsequent tiles along the top and right hand perimeters, placing male tabs into female loops and pressing down firmly to snap tiles together. Tiles should be placed at 90 degree angles to each other to ensure proper connections.
- Continue snapping tiles together until installation is complete!
- The tiles can be easily cut to fit with a saw.
- Forma Floor ramp edges and corner pieces sold separately.
